I've pretty much kept a journal since I was twelve. I went through some periods of vacancy in between journals, but eventually I'd grab another book with lined paper and begin to write. I've always enjoyed the thought that in the future, I'd be able to look back on them and remember. To capture memories and feelings. To look over the bad, the good, the simple, and the complex. It's like little autobiographies, in depth and personal.

I don't write as much as I used to, which is sort of a shame. But I still keep a journal and write about what I wish would happen and what is actually happening. If you don't keep a journal, I highly suggest you at least try it out! You could keep a dream book, a diary, or just a notebook filled with thoughts, poems, songs, codenames..
